You have probably all heard of the alleged glass ceiling, which is the invisible barrier in any hierarchy that women cannot push through. No matter how competent they are, the old boy network will keep them down. This is a feminist claim. In reality, society has gotten so subverted by leftists that they just put women in charge of organizations they are completely unequipped to lead. You can probably think of a few examples. Thanks to the DIE movement, which is currently being rolled back, there is no shortage of women who have no need to push through the purported glass ceiling as they simply enter at the top.

As I recently learned, there is another effect that feminists discovered in their never-ending search for examples of discrimination. They call it the “glass cliff”. This is an absurd metaphor. The glass ceiling is a ceiling made of glass, and because it is made of glass, you do not see that there is a ceiling. This is the metaphor and it is at least not illogical, even if it does not exist. The “glass cliff” metaphor, on the other hand, is supposed to express that there is a cliff you do not see. Perhaps the implication is that women in such positions are so immeasurably fat that they crash through a cliff made of glass. Otherwise, this does not make sense because a cliff made of glass would normally not invite you to walk on it. Oh, wait! Perhaps the metaphor is intended to express that women are so confident that they believe that they can walk on air. In reality, they cannot so they get tricked by a glass cliff and just walk off it. It seems that being a woman in garbled feminist thinking is really difficult.

So, what is a “glass cliff” supposed to be? The non-definition on Wikipedia states that a glass cliff is a glass ceiling women break through during times of crisis, leading to their eventual failure. No, this does not make any sense. You really need to ask why we need to have the IQ95 crowd teaching at university. It seems the glass ceiling is actually Schroedinger’s glass ceiling: If a woman cannot get a top leadership position, then the glass ceiling is a glass ceiling. However, if a woman manages to break though the glass ceiling, it is actually a glass cliff, leading to her failing at her job. As you can see, no matter what happens, injustices are being done to women.

In reality, the glass ceiling seems to be a lame attempt to shield women from criticism. Feminists claim that women are put in high-level positions during times of crisis because they make easy scapegoats. Well, this assumes that the owners of the company want to lose their money. You must know absolutely nothing of business to makes such a claim. There are other explanations, none of which are particularly convincing. In reality, I think the reason many women end up in high-level positions is due to political pressure, nothing more, and they fail because they are not qualified for these jobs. When you take on a new role during a time of crisis, you normally cannot say with certainty that there is no way to turn the ship around. Otherwise, why would you take on such a role, except if you were utterly cynical and only optimized your career for short-term gains? Taking a job you are not qualified for can ruin your career. This may work out for Marissa Mayer who is worth about a billion dollars. She could run Yahoo into the ground, only to start a company that produces a free contact-management app that has had more than 1,000 downloads on the Google Play store, and nowhere near 10,000 downloads in half a decade. She does not need to work anymore. Not all leadership positions pay dozens or hundreds of millions per year and if you mess up, chances are high that you are not going to get another one.

In feminist mythology, women are not supposed to fail at anything. If they cannot get a top job, it is because of discrimination due to the glass ceiling. Yet, if they do get a top job, and suck at it, they encountered the ludicrously named glass cliff. Finally, if they get a top job at excel at it, or at least do not suck at it, then this is apparently incontrovertible proof that all women are better than any man at absolutely any job there is. This is utterly retarded thinking.
