The programmer stereotype changed a lot over the years. Before tech was a mainstream career, programmers were perceived as recluses, possibly with a hygiene problem and a complete disregard for fashion. This image persisted even throughout the dot-com boom of the late 1990s. However, with the next boom in the late 2000s, due to the iPhone, which put the Internet in your pocket, there were no longer enough nerds around to fill all these roles. Thus, great efforts were made to increase the pool of programmers. Suddenly everyone was supposed to be able to code, and people happily paid thousands of dollars for a bullshit bootcamp. Yet, as investors used the number of engineers on staff for assessing unprofitable businesses, these people still found jobs. This was the start of the “tech bro” phenomenon. The kind of guy who took a wide berth around any quantitative subject at university was now a coder because he managed to work with a dumbed-down framework.

Even local-grown tech bros are expensive, so turning every Chad into a coder was not sustainable either. The same is true for regular guys, obviously. These were always the majority, but because tech bros stand out, they were perceived as being the dominant majority in this industry. Cheaper is it to import foreign labor. In the Western world, this means opening the flood gates, mostly for Indians but there are plenty of others. These people bring with them some advantages. The popular mythology is that they are all hard-working and highly educated, but if you have worked with any of them, your perception may very well differ. In any case, because they are on a temporary visa that is normally tied to their employer, these people are not only cheaper than locals, they are also a lot more obedient. Surely, it takes a particular kind of person who is willing to move abroad in order to get paid less than the locals.

As a consequence, it is perhaps not surprising that today’s crop of coders no longer make you think of tech-bro alpha jocks who somehow ended up in front of a computer. Instead, there are a lot of cucks around, often quite literally. This is no surprise at all because if you take it up the ass from nine to five and are treated as a second-rate employee, and you are fine with that, then you surely do not know what it means to have dignity or how to command respect. Below is a fantastic example of a techie who let his wife bang other guys. He writes that he and his wife have “opened up” their marriage but surely he is not getting any pussy. The message above almost reads like a parody. It could of course be made up. However, there is a deluge of related messages on Blind. A lot of guys on there talk about their wives wanting to get some fresh dick on the side. Thus, these women do not respect their men at all, viewing them as nothing more than providers. For their wives, this is a great deal as they get the cuck’s money and Chad’s cock.

Such literal cucks are beyond help. They cannot stand up for themselves and as a consequence, their wives take advantage of them, just like their employer does. There is no easy fix either. Just as there are no ways of making someone more intelligent, despite the government spending billions on “disadvantaged youth”, so is there no way of turning a beta cuck into a confident man. In the example above you are dealing with somebody who has probably been pushed around for 35 years. How would you even start fixing that? Any suggestion that involves putting his foot down such a loser could not execute. There is the saying that leaders are born, not made. The same seems to be true at the other end of the cuck/Chad spectrum: cucks are born, not made. Their life’s purpose is to follow orders, so that is what they do, and they have no problem with having two bosses, their manager and their wife. All their life they have worked towards the situation they are in.
