The Dangerous Indoctrination of Women and Children

I recently stumbled across a peculiar children’s book in the library, “Why Do They Say Wolves are Bad?” by Quentin Greban. This book is really as bad as you think as it pushes the message that “prejudices” are generally dangerous. In this book, the animals end up living peacefully with the wolf. It is not clear what the wolf is living off instead. Presumably, he turned himself into a vegetarian.

Prejudices exist for a reason. They are based on repeated experience, and they enable you to not have to make these experiences yourself. To remain in the realm of that children’s book, if all sheep are afraid of the wolf then perhaps there is a very good reason for that. It does not matter that there may be one good wolf out there who would not just kill a sheep if he was hungry. Pretending otherwise is deeply harmful.

Unfortunately, the woke left seems to have drunk so much of its Kool-Aid that they do not even notice that they turn themselves or, worse, their children into victims, i.e. into literal sheep waiting to be slain by a wolf. After waving with teddy bears at illiterate third-world doctors and engineers in the mid 2010s, the enthusiasm for unfettered mass immigration among Western European women slowly but surely dwindled when it emerged that there are some problems with these people. Plenty of women have been sexually harassed, raped, or even murdered by these people. In a way, they died for their convictions. Some prejudices could have easily saved their lives.

Thankfully, leftist thinking is self-correcting. At an extreme, all the careless leftist women will eventually get murdered by immigrants, after all. It will not come to this, but reality has started to push back hard against leftist dogma. There is a good chance that in a few years children’s books like the one above will no longer find a willing audience.
