  1. In our previous conversation,you mentioned having had experience in the Martial arts before Aaron,may I ask what arts you’ve tried out? I don’t suppose you’ve had sparring experiences? If you don’t mind telling some stories…

    Also if I remember correctly,in your Meditation book,you mentioned managing to intimidate a mugger from continuing to attack by remaining calm. May I ask if you have had other such incidents(getting attacked or almost getting into fights,I mean)that you managed to deescalate or get out of?

    1. I practiced Jujutsu for a few years (teens to early adulthood) as well as Aikido in my late 20s/early 30s. I did spar one time. I had a gym buddy in London who was big into boxing and one time he brought two pairs of gloves. We took turns hitting a punching bag, and I think that this was a routine for several weeks. One time, though, he asked me to hit him in the face. That was quite unexpected. I thought it was an interesting experience. We did not go hard, but it is quite interesting how your adrenaline spikes even after just getting a light punch in your face. Our bout was not even as lop-sided as I had expected as my reach was significantly longer than his.

      In the Meditation book, I mention that I got out of an attack and remained unfazed. The guy buggered off afterwards; presumably, he thought he could just opportunistically snag my backpack and run off. I have been in a few situations win which I was probably close to a fight. In the club scene, it certainly helped that I looked pretty unhinged. Here the key takeaway is that people normally do not want to attack someone who might be a bit crazy. Nothing ever really went further than some pushing back and forth. I do remember a few guys who jostled me aggressively against me on the dance floor, under the cover of plausible deniability as the crowd was quite excited. Well, under the cover of plausible deniability, you can do a foot sweep, turn away, and disappear in the crowd again. Two or three times I had to do joint locks to get some dude off me who grabbed my wrist or shirt. You hold it for a few seconds, look them sternly in the eyes, and gently push them back. However, note that I would recommend leaving clubs or bars when the atmosphere gets too aggressive. If there is a brawl breaking out, it is likely that some random drunk guy just hits you on the head from behind, for instance.

  2. I’ve been reading the Korean webtoon LOOKISM by Park Taejoon for a few years now. Park Taejoon is an ex-model and entrepreneur turned comic artist https://lookism.fandom.com/wiki/Taejoon_Park_(Author)
    LOOKISM is basically a bildungsroman about the phenomenon of lookism from the perspective of a teenage boy who has lived his entire life in a weak and ugly body. He has been mercilessly bullied every single day at school. He has no friends.

    One day he wakes up in his cheap hovel of an apartment in another body – a tall, handsome, strong body. From this point onward, the young man lives in one body while the other sleeps, switching bodies twice a day.

    Because of this, he can interact with all the students in his class, and society as a whole, as both a strong, handsome kid and a weak, ugly kid. Through this storytelling device the author explores various aspects of how Looks, Money and Status affect a person’s life – love, career, friendship. The series also does not neglect the importance of fightmaxxing, as Looks Maximus calls it. Pretty but weak characters regularly get bullied into doing things they hate by strong, ugly guys.

    Eventually the series branches out to cover other aspects of society, such as homeless youth, parasocial relationships with streamers, gambling scams, religious cults, crazy cat ladies and much more.

    While Taejoon Park is black pilled, he is firmly against LDAR (the doomer attitude of “lay down and rot”) – his message is that of stoicism (virtue is the sole good, do what is right even when it’s the toughest path) and Confucian ideals like filial loyalty.

    As the story progresses there is an increasing emphasis on fightmaxxing and forming a brotherhood with strong, loyal allies with whom one has a common cause. The “good guys” find that they are surrounded by criminal organizations that sell drugs, run scams and force girls into prostitution. The police are either too incompetent to stop them or simply paid off. The “good guys” realize that to protect the girls they love and maintain a virtuous way of life they must enter an all-out gang war against the criminal organizations.

    This means the webtoon turns from a unique narrative into a generic fighting manga, but I think there is an underlying message in this: looksmaxxing is for the immature, validation seeking man. The mature man focuses on power. And in the world of the webtoon LOOKISM that means fightmaxxing and building alliances.

    1. This seems like an interesting manga. I just saw that there are well over 300 episodes, so I do not think I will be able to embark on that journey. But to address the point you raise at the end of your post: I think looksmaxxing is a phase a lot of guys simply grow out of. My impression is that guys in high school or college are often quite focused on their appearance, primarily because they have little else to distinguish themselves with yet. Funnily enough, some guys change their outlook on the importance of looks almost completely if they end up being successful. For instance, I know guys who are doing really well for himself financially and who just not longer care about an extra 20 or 30 pounds. One of them is quite a cynic and prefers banging hookers over having to deal with regular women.

      There is also the aspect that some guys grow out of acquiring more money and power. This is the dude who turns down a promotion because he is comfortable where they are, or the guy who turns his full-time employment into a contracting gig, taking off three to six months every year. I think there comes a point in your life where you have to ask yourself if you want to go for another few rounds in the hamster wheel or not, and sometimes, for some, the better answer is to look for a good work-life balance. Note that I am not endorsing either position. Instead, I want to point out that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to those questions.

  3. Something interesting related to the scamdemic happened in Germany on Tuesday. There is a well-practiced charade where the German equivalent of the CDC, the Robert-Koch-Institut (RKI), recommends harsh measures, strangely enough always very shortly before important government summits. We are talking about hours. This time, the RKI recommended “maximal contract restrictions”, “maximal lockdowns”, and a whole slew of other measures, vaguely prefixed with the modifier “maximal”. In the subsequent meeting, however, the government ignored those suggestions completely and confirmed keeping the existing ones, which are harsh enough already.

    In my view, this is a crack in the narrative and quite likely a sign of politicians being afraid of inciting even more anger from the public, as protests have sprung up all over the country, some of which doubling in size week after week. Of course, you cannot expect that kind of analysis in a mainstream newspaper, where the shared fiction is still that there are only a few dozen protesters in the country who all belong to the far-right extremist spectrum.

    Here is an article in German:
    https://www.welt.de/politik/deutschland/article235806648/Bund-Laender-Gipfel-Trotz-Druck-von-RKI-und-Laendern-bleiben-Scholz-und-Lauterbach-bei-ihrem-Plan.html
    The text is incredibly dishonest. It speaks of “recommendations from the RKI” whereas the RKI is a government agency. In other words, it does what the government tells it to do as it is not operating autonomously.

    1. That’s interesting. Something similar happened in the UK.

      They went through all of the usual motions which usually leads to an announcement of the harshest lockdowns… And today they just came out and said… We’re not changing anything, we’ll continue as-is. It surprised most people.

      That immediately made me think… They definitely are scared of the people who are no longer tolerating this stuff.

    2. I saw footage of the protests in Romania today. This is quite inspiring indeed. An enormous crowd gathered outside the parliament building as the faggots inside wanted to push through legislation on a vaxx passport, and they were so scared that the measures were “postponed”. The same happened in that French colony. Imagine being a politician, i.e. a foot soldier of the elites, and realizing that they are the barrier between the people and their paymasters. Nobody is going to save them if hell breaks loose.

    3. Where can I find footage of what’s actually going on in Germany? The protests in Munich for instance were 100% suppressed/downplayed in terms of coverage in the local Swiss media.

    4. On Telegram, check out “Freie Sachsen”, which focuses on Saxony but also highlights big protests in other cities. This is a very active channel. I also check “Corona-Widerstand / Global News”. Martin Sellner’s channel focuses mostly on Austria but quite frequently covers Germany as well.

    5. Do you think the momentum from protests will bring some important political changes or will it just fizzle out when lockdown gets lifted?

    6. I think we are seeing some backpedaling from politics already, although this is not communicated as such. Also, we would need a lot more than just lifting lockdowns to get return to the comparatively free society we had before. In any case, today’s enforcers are politically burnt. I am not sure that we will see a complete makeover of the political landscape. However, I expect there to be much more dissent, and widespread loss of trust in the political process. This would constitute an opening for new leadership, and some people are gearing up for this already. Think of Nick Fuentes in the US or Martin Sellner in Austria, or the leaders of “right-wing” opposition parties in general. I think if some industrialist dropped a suitcase full of cash, as it allegedly happened with the NSDAP in the 1920s or the AfD in the 2010s, some people would get far with it.

    7. Or this could have been the plan all along “look, we’re not implementing harsher measures; we’re just keeping the existing extremely harsh measures!”

    1. Nowhere in the article is any meaningful definition of “athlete”

      And given that they include 80 year old people in the list of athletes, I doubt they had any meaningful definition.

      You complain that the pro-vaccine people play semantic games, counting everyone as covid victim who died with or from covid, but the anti-vaxxers play the same stupid semantics game, just with the opposite sign.

      No side is actually trying to honestly get to the truth here.

    2. Official government statistics already show excess deaths in 2021. I frequently come across posts discussing German data, and I am sure you can find them as well. How do you explain that?

    3. If it wasn’t for your strong confirmation bias on this issue, I’m 100% certain you would not fall for such sophistry and statistical trickery Aaron.

      It took me a few minutes to figure out that this is not credible science or statistics, just reading the article and asking some questions.

      If a symmetrical article was posted from the pro-vaccine side, you would be the first to ask about definitions and data sources, I’m 100% sure about this.

      No clear definition of what you are even measuring = pseudo science.

      You are using a double standard here which sources you trust unverified.

    4. “Official government statistics already show excess deaths in 2021”

      the government would argue this is because of covid 😉

      So do we trust the official government statistics now, or don’t ?

      Or do we just trust any statistic which confirms what we already believe?

    1. Aaron, what would be the reason the elites want to kill off random people?
      I can see a lot of reasons for elites to kill specific people, but not random.

      To reduce the population? For what reason?
      Do they believe that climate change is real? But didn’t you say in the past on your blog, that climate change is another hoax from the elites? So did they start to believe their own lies?

      Even if I grant you that people are dying from the vaccine, those numbers are way too small to have any significant impact.
      So why would the elites take the risk of a mass pleb revolt, for such a minimal gain?
      Why is there a health care system in the first place if elites just want to kill us?

      The power of the elites is based on tax income and income from capital (stocks)
      If you kill people, there will be less tax generated and less profit from capital.

      Or to say it in a different way: why would someone who has many hard working slaves, want to suddenly kill those slaves? The slaves who work so that you can have a good life on your Yacht?

    2. Yes, climate change is nonsense, but I do believe that a significant part of them believes their own nonsense. Note that we are talking about the second or third generations of hoaxers, and there are plenty of elite members who have known nothing but climate hoaxing and diversity gospel from their early childhood onward. Have you look up the Georgia guide stones, by the way? Go down that rabbit hole for a bit and then come back. The elites are telling us that they want to kill us, yet people like you come with, quite frankly, bizarre objections. People are getting less and less healthy every decade, and dumber, yet you believe that this is all a big coincidence, apparently.

      I think the vaccine was not supposed to kill off that many people that soon. It is unproven technology that was sold to the rubes as “safe and effective”, and we know that it triggers auto-immune diseases, among others. The goal was probably to shave off a few decades of your life expectancy, and push this garbage onto teens and children, presumably sterilizing them in the process. Now they are panicking because the side effects have become visible almost from the get-go, with people collapsing on camera even. This causes much more alarm than a slow thinning of the herd.

      I do not think that the elites care very much about bogus money. Why do you think guys like Gates buy up millions of acres of land?

    3. Pele (81), former soccer star was vaccinated March 2021, then diagnosed with colon cancer September 2021 and was admitted to hospital again December 2021. He had prostate surgery in 2015.

      to include someone who is 81, in a list of dead “athletes” is not credible science

      many people in the list on the article you linked, are 40+ age and not active athletes.

      I’m all for rational investigation but such a misrepresentation of data won’t make anyone look very credible.

    4. Your argument is dishonest. This list is full of people at the peak of their performance, i.e. teens to late 20s, yet for some reason you go for an octogenarian. Maybe it is just me, but some of your posts make me wonder if you are a fed who was tasked with spreading FUD.

    5. This seems to me more a case of clever semantic redefinition.

      you redefine athlete from:

      – someone who is an active athlete

      to

      – someone who is or WAS an athlete in his life.

      and then conclude more athletes are suddenly dying.

      I’m aware that the people on the pro vaccine side are also playing those semantic games, but again if you want to make a credible argument, don’t include someone who is age 80+ in a list of “athletes”

    6. “Your argument is dishonest. This list is full of people at the peak of their performance, i.e. teens to late 20s, yet for some reason you go for an octogenarian. Maybe it is just me, but some of your posts make me wonder if you are a fed who was tasked with spreading FUD.”

      Even if we only go for the young people, the article is still bullshit.

      you can define athlete as:

      – someone playing in the NBA or any other professional sports league

      – someone playing in ANY sports league. This second group is obviously MUCH larger

      The article gives no definition at all, and is therefore pseudo science.

    7. Sorry. But your second link:
      https://world-signals.com/news/2021/11/26/500-rise-in-deaths-fifa-players-in-2021/
      is also very dubios.
      They link to this wikipedia page for the deathcount:
      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_association_footballers_who_died_while_playing
      So, according to wikipedia, these are the death-counts:

      2021 = 17
      2020 = 3
      2019 = 10
      2018 = 7
      2017 = 11
      2016 = 13
      2015 = 11
      2014 = 8
      2013 = 11
      2012 = 10
      2011 = 3
      2010 = 12

      so barely a statistically significant increase in 2020 & 2021.

      Yet the write 500% rise of deaths.

      So what are they doing is, for the years before 2020 they use wikipedia as a source, but for the covid years the clearly used a different source.

      again, this is nothing but sophistry

    8. Again, you are cherry-picking. The Wikipedia article is about players who died on the pitch, not total deaths. Also, 2021 is the highest value on record by a wide margin. It is far above the average. Do the math, and you will find that it is statistically significant. Thus, your cherry-picked argument does not even work.

      Also, you did not yet address the issue of excess mortality, which is now observable in the population. How do you explain this? (Yes, it is statistically significant.) I really do not get what you are trying to pull off here. People are dying of the vaxx, yet you want to claim that this is not real, like a “fact checker”. Yesterday, you tried telling us that the protest in Vienna were not real, and moved the goal post multiple times afterwards. Today, I am learning that the vaxx does not kill anyone. What will you tell us tomorrow?

    9. You didn’t deny being a glow worm. Would you mind taking a few minutes to talk about your stance on the UAP (UFO) phenomenon, perhaps you have an opinion on that weak ass report the US released this last Summer?

    10. “Also, 2021 is the highest value on record by a wide margin. It is far above the average. Do the math, and you will find that it is statistically significant.”

      if you group years in pairs of 2,

      2020- 2021 = 20
      2018-2019 = 17
      2016-2017 = 23
      2014-2015 = 19
      2012-2013 = 21

      so all of those fluctuations fall inside the range of statistical noise

    11. the low number in 2020 and the high number in 2021 was probably because they delayed many events from 2020 to 2021.

      Or, more people actually died from the vaccine in 2021.

      But clearly not 500% more, as the article suggested.

    12. Today, I am learning that athletes have always been collapsing on the field, just like Eurasia has always been at war with Oceania.

    13. “Would you mind taking a few minutes to talk about your stance on the UAP (UFO) phenomenon,”

      LOL, how is that related now.

      It’s certainly possible that aliens exist and that they visit our planet.

      I don’t have a strong opinion about this.

      The UFO could be many things:

      – some to us unknown rare physical phenomenon
      – a rare error in the sensor devices
      – some new Chinese technology
      – an alien drone observing our planet
      – a fake image/video

      without more evidence, it will remain speculation.

      Now obviously if aliens actually existed and the government knew about this, they would try to hide it to prevent a mass panic, and for other strategic reasons.

    14. I bet when aliens arrive on earth, they will tell us that we need global communism. Anyway, why would they want to prevent a mass panic about UFOs when they have been stoking all kinds of panics for centuries?

    15. Ok I realize now what they have done:

      2021 = 17
      2020 = 3

      So because no sport event happend in 2020, because they were cancelled, you get a 500% increase from 2020 to 2021.

      And you tell me this is not pure sophistry and/or clickbait.

      Again Aaron, if some feminists changed the definition of rape, and then write an article how rape has increase by 300%, I’m 100% sure you would not fall for this. you are smarter than that.

    16. The 2021 figure is an outlier compared to the average. Also, do not get hung up on the percentages. This is similar to you getting your panties into a twist because your mother did not count 50,000 protesters in Vienna even though mainstream reports spoke of over 40,000 people attending. The fact of the matter is that nowadays there are many more athletes collapsing and dying, for absolutely no reason at all.

    17. Funny how you jump straight to he ET conclusion. I just figured that since you glow you’d have some insider information. Give me a heads up before the fake alien invasion narrative starts going and the “mass panic” sets in.

    18. “Funny how you jump straight to he ET conclusion. I just figured that since you glow you’d have some insider information. Give me a heads up before the fake alien invasion narrative starts going and the “mass panic” sets in.”

      Don’t put words in my mouth, I didn’t jump to any conclusion.

      The only one here paranoid about fake alien invasions is you.

    19. “The fact of the matter is that nowadays there are many more athletes collapsing and dying, for absolutely no reason at all.”

      So you post an article. I show you that the article is bullshit.
      You just ignore my argument and believe what you want to believe anyways.
      Ok Aaron.
      Your conclusion was fixed here from the beginning.

      If someone used symmetrically weak argument to prove that “there is a huge problem with systemic racism and cops killing innocent black people! Didn’t you see all the videos lately with cops killing black people?” you would use arguments similar to mine, to destroy this narrative.

      Again, you are using a strong double standard here.

    20. This is a deflection. Maybe address excess mortality in the UK and Germany, for starters, instead of claiming that people have died before as well.

    21. ” Also, do not get hung up on the percentages. ”

      You like to do this kind of sophistry a lot Aaron.

      You link to an obvious clickbait article which totally misrepresents facts, with a “500%” increase in death-count.

      then I point out thy the article is bullshit.

      And then your argument is “do not get hung up on the percentages.”

      Ok Aaron.

      Lets not get so hung up about percentages.
      So just say that the 17 dead athletes in 2021 are statistical noise, because we don’t want to get hung up with percentages, right?

      I can play this game as well.

    22. Dude, I wrote this to point out that the exact number is irrelevant because the bigger picture is the same. This is exactly the same as you telling us that your mom did not see 50,000 protesters at that protest in Vienna. Nobody knows the exact number, but tens of thousands of people where there. Similarly, we probably cannot easily conclude how many more athletes have been dying in 2021, but it is quite obvious that a lot of athletes have been dying in their prime years this year.

      By the way, is there a chance that you are a little bit autistic? I do not write this to denigrate you at all. However, your extremely rigid way of thinking makes me believe that you are. People like you would make excellent “fact checkers”.

    23. And then your argument is “do not get hung up on the percentages.”

      That’s not the overall argument. The overall argument is look at the trends OVERALL, in general. Just like you focused on debunking the specific head-count of one specific street on one specific day in one specific city (vienna), and pretended like this is somehow debunking the fact that THERE IS A HISTORIC AMOUNT OF PROTESTERS ACROSS THE WORLD ALL PROTESTING AGAINST THE SAME THING ON THE SAME DAY.

      You’re nitpicking commas in an essay, should have the comma been put here, or there. Interestingly enough this is a tactic that’s specifically taught to Soros-trained “fact checkers”.

    24. “Maybe address excess mortality in the UK and Germany”

      I’m not sure if you are still in touch with reality or not Aaron.

      If you haven’t heard of it, there is this virus covid-19. That’s why we have excess mortality, and that’s why people are getting vaccinated, and they are doing lockdowns.

    25. Obviously, I am referring to non-Covid deaths. Here is an article from the Financial Times. It does not get more mainstream than this:
      https://www.ft.com/content/05e32f95-0e7e-4d2a-b408-6ec6035dea8e

      The UK has entered a third phase of excess deaths during the pandemic with more people dying than expected and the figure not readily explained by coronavirus. In the week ending November 12, 2,047 more deaths were registered than during the same period between 2015 to 2019, but Covid-19 was mentioned on death certificates for only 1,197 people.

      It is the same picture in Germany, an probably other countries, too. Unlike you, I do not get weekly briefs from the Open Society Foundation to tell me what to write, so please excuse that I am not going to bother digging up information for all Western countries.

      Also people who are dying with Covid are counted as having died of Covid. You are surely aware of this.

    26. @Alek:

      I also think you are way smarter than this. You have enough statistical understanding to see that this article with the 500% increase of death athletes is pure clickbait and statistical sophistry.

      The sad thing is, I’m actually on your and Aarons side.

      But using such bullshit articles as source for your argumentation for the anti-vaxx stance, is not helping at all, and actually it just makes anti-vaxxers look like total morons.

    27. “By the way, is there a chance that you are a little bit autistic?”

      Aaron uses clickbait articles which can be debunked in a few minutes as source for his narrative.

      And I’m the one who is autistic 😀

      Actually, maybe you are right about this.

      Because I think you suffer exactly from one bias here, from which an autist would not suffer:

      agency-overattribution bias.

      you clearly see a lot agency where there is none.

    28. I think it takes some high-grade autistic thinking to not assume cooperation when the same game plan unfolds all over the world.

    29. “Obviously, I am referring to non-Covid deaths. Here is an article from the Financial Times. It does not get more mainstream than this:”

      the mainstream narrative for excess non-covid moratility is because of many operations that now have to be delayed because ICUs are full with covid-victims.

      the anti-vaxxer narrative is because the vaccine is killing people.

      again, if you can show me a credible data source, I’m more than willing to investigate the second option.

    30. You are moving the goal post yet again, glowie! I only wrote about “excess mortality” not related to Covid, nothing else. Maybe your mom has access to more detailed statistics on the root cause. It cannot hurt if you ask her. After all, she turned out to be such an unassailable authority on protests in Vienna.

    31. Ok Aaron, since you are highly emotional, let me repeat it again:

      Can you provide me with a credible, statistically significant data source, linking excess mortality to vaccinations?

      Yes or no?

      You say you don’t trust the mainstream media. Ok fine.

      but then you link to a mainstream source, when they support your narrative.

      so if Financial times is a credible source (Because you are using it), how about this article:

      https://www.ft.com/content/d71729a3-72e8-490c-bd7e-757027f9b226

      is this also legit then?

      you are just cherry picking whatever article you find from whatever source, whenever it fits into your narrative.

    32. You are moving the goal post. I point to mainstream resources that prove excess mortality that is not related to Covid. You now turn around asking me to point to mainstream sources (!) that prove that the excess mortality is linked to the vaxx. You know very well that the mainstream would, at the current point, not make any such claim because their stance is still that the vaxx is “safe and effective”. Thus, your argument is incredibly dishonest. It reminds me of fact-checker nonsense.

      We seem to be able to agree that there are excess deaths that are not related to Covid. Now the remaining question is where those deaths are coming from. One candidate would be the vaxx. As you surely knew, some countries banned various vaxxes for certain age groups due to adverse effects. We also know that there are deaths following the vaxx, for instance recorded in VAERS. Thus, there seems to be evidence that the vaxx can explain at least some of the non-Covid related excess mortality.

    33. The FT link I used showed more recent data than yours, which is from April 2021. What do you want me to look at? I am well aware of this stratagem, i.e. throw out a bunch of links and references to books, be imprecise, and demand that the other party reads them as well as reads the mind of the opponent in the debate. This is bottom-tier argumentation, befitting of a Soros shill.

    34. Also very weak from you, that you could not argue against me debunking the article you posted, and now resort to ad hominem again, calling me an autist.
      Just very childish of you, this blog really went downhill fast since covid.

    35. I addressed your points. Alek also chimed in. Address that first, please. When will you visit your mom again? Surely, she can sit down with you and walk you through our arguments.

    36. “We seem to be able to agree that there are excess deaths that are not related to Covid. Now the remaining question is where those deaths are coming from. One candidate would be the vaxx. As you surely knew, some countries banned various vaxxes for certain age groups due to adverse effects. We also know that there are deaths following the vaxx, for instance recorded in VAERS. Thus, there seems to be evidence that the vaxx can explain at least some of the non-Covid related excess mortality.”

      again, to investigate this, we would need the data.

      and some people will actually die from side effects of the vaccine. No one has denied that?

      all that matters is that for most people risk of vaccine <= risk of covid

      So even if some of the deaths in the excess mortality group are from the vaccine, this would still not prove your narrative, you would still have to prove, that the overall excess mortality would be lower, if we would not vaccinate people.

      there are 4 groups of people dying:

      – people dying from covid
      – people dying from the vaccine
      – people dying due to delayed operations, because of full ICUs.
      – people dying for other/normal reasons

      you need to prove, that the vaccination program is increasing the overall excess mortality across all of those groups, instead of lowering it.

      some people dying from vaccine side effect in itself is not an argument against the vaccinations.

    37. “throw out a bunch of links and references to books, be imprecise, and demand that the other party reads them as well as reads the mind of the opponent in the debate. This is bottom-tier argumentation, befitting of a Soros shill.”

      I have read and debunked so far 1 of the links you have posted.
      You have read and debunked so far 0 of the links I have posted.

      So you are not willing to read my arguments / sources, but you expect me to accept your arguments & links on faith.

      Again, this is just very weak Aaron.

    38. You are dishonest. The bigger point is that there are more athletes dying than previously, just as there are now more people out protesting than previously. There are also more non-Covid deaths than previously. Which of those points do you disagree with and why?

    39. “You are dishonest. The bigger point is that there are more athletes dying than previously,”

      I have debunked so far all of your sources for this claim as statistical sophistry.

      You completely ignore this, and just repeat your claim, without providing any evidence which is more credible.

      And then I’m the one here who is dishonest? Really?

      This feels like arguing with a feminist:

      feminists: “there is a pay gap, it’s clearly visible in the data”
      me: “if you control for certain factors, there is no more pay gap in the data”
      feminists: “there is a pay gap, it’s clearly visible in the data”

      there is no winning with such an opponent, and I will rest this case now.

      Have a nice day Aaron. I still enjoy your posts which are not related to covid.

    40. You cherry-picked the data by picking one octogenarian, and latter on you switched to a Wikipedia page on people who died during a game. What about the hundreds who have knowingly died of, presumably, the vaxx? You conveniently ignored those but made the rather ambitious argument that this is not relevant because of some old dude on that list. If you think that this means “controlling for certain factors”, you may want to crack open those statistics textbooks once more.

    41. And one more point, which makes me quite sad, just to repeat it again:

      I’m actually on your and Aleks side, I want the tyrannical measures / vaccine mandates to end.

      but using clickbait sources like this to support your arguments, is not helping and all, and it is actually hurting.

      The government already wants to paint all anti-vaxxer as irrational morons who struggle with highschool level math, and you are basically giving them ammunition to support this stance, by using such terrible sources.

    42. “and latter on you switched to a Wikipedia page on people who died during a game.”

      you don’t want to get it. this is very clear here.

      The article that you posted, linked to this wikipedia page as THEIR source for deaths of athletes.
      They used this as a source for all deaths before 2020, but then for 2020 and 2021 they used a different source.

      So they changed the definition / way of counting for the covid years.

      this is statistical sophistry. You cannot use one source before covid and then another source after covid.

      and the clickbait claim of the 500% increase was because in 2020 there were only 3 deaths, because of cancelled events.

      This is similar to feminists changing the definition of rape, and then claiming there was a 300% in crease in rape.

      but again, you don’t want to see it because it disconfirms your narrative.

    43. By the way, is there a chance that you are a little bit autistic? People like you would make excellent “fact checkers”

      I have an autistic friend like this, and its unfuriating. He acts like a fact-checker without the training indeed.

      For example I’ll be making a point (big picture point) and randomly give some examples, and he’ll go “But alek, example 3 is missing this comma here and I disagree that bla bla”.

      And I’m like — YOU DO REALIZE that doesn’t CHANGE anything in the point I was making? My point was (and then you have to spell out the actual CONTEXT/point you’re making.

      Aaron uses clickbait articles which can be debunked in a few minutes as source for his narrative.

      And I’m the one who is autistic ?

      Mentioning imperfect examples is not autistic. Getting hung on them is. And more specifically an inability to infer/understand the bigger picture (context) of a point or conversation is autistic.

    44. “And more specifically an inability to infer/understand the bigger picture (context) of a point or conversation is autistic.”

      If all you are doing is using cherry picked biased clickbait sources which are obviously bullshit, the only bigger picture you will get is exactly the conspiracy narrative that you want to get.
      Your conclusion is fixed, and you pick data/articles to support your conclusion.

      If you were rational about this issue, you would have to see the bullshit sophistry they have done in this article. And you would have to be critical of Aaron for using it.

      But you are not doing this, because you agree with his narrative and not mine.

      Yeah and now you will claim “oh you get so hung up about this article, you are clearly an autist!!”.

      So you have reached a level now, that pointing out bullshit statistics is autistic, but using the same bullshit statistics (if they support your narrative) is rational.

  4. “Don’t put words in my mouth…”

    “LOL, how is that related now.

    It’s certainly possible that aliens exist and that they visit our planet.”

    1. “certainly possible”

      is not

      “jump straight to a conclusion”

      this is Kindergarten level argumentation here now or what?
