The Wall

The Wall Illustrated: Scarlett Johansson

The wall is relentless. Most women are somewhere between ‘unattractive’ and ‘semi-attractive’. Once the wall hits them, they of course look a lot worse. On the plus side, they never looked good to begin with, so they should be able to take it fairly well. On that note, I’d assume that someone who has grown up in poverty is used to it and should they fall into hardship later in life, they can benefit from their experience dealing with a lack of creature comforts. On the other hand, if you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth and then lose all your money — that’s certainly really tough.

You can probably guess where I’m going with this. If you’re not aware of how hard Scarlett Johannson has hit the wall, then brace yourself. As a warm-up, this is what she looked like in what was probably one of her more critically acclaimed roles: Cristina in Woody Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona. That movie was released in 2008. Scarlett Johanssen was 23 or 24 and at the peak of her fertility. Interestingly, this was also one of the most successful movies Woody Allen ever made. It could be his most successful one. Certainly, Scarlett Johansson’s beauty was an important factor in that. Look at her:

It’s no surprise that millions of people paid money to see such an extremely good-looking woman on screen. Imagine you’re a woman of such beauty and then you lose it all. I mean, if we were talking about some unattractive woman who never got much attention from men, things would be a lot different. The other day I listened to some Turd Flinging Monkey video where someone made the offhand remark that Anita Sarkeesian must have hit the wall pretty hard, considering that it has been quite a while since she has last shown her fact in public. Annita Sarkeesian, however, is a fairly unattractive woman, even if you ignore her feminist bullshit. (Taking into account what she spews out when she opens her mouth, she’s a solid 0/10, though.) I don’t think her life changes much as a consequence of crashing into The Wall at full speed.

I know, I know, I’ve been beating around the bush, but it’s not easy going from a youthful and highly attractive Scarlett Johannson to post-Wall Scarlett Johannson. It really isn’t pretty. Here’s a recent picture:

No, it really isn’t pretty. It is downright depressing.

Scarlett Johannson is a great warning sign. She’s now a twice-divorced single mom and her sexual market value is a mere fraction of what it once was. Ten years ago she could have had her pick among the wealthiest and most desirable men on this planet. In 2018, at not even 34 years old, she’s done.

    1. She really does. I am amazed by how hard she has hit the wall. Given how good-looking she used to be, she’s the most shocking example of a woman hitting the wall I’ve come across so far.

    2. Not everyone ages well.

I’m doing alright and look fine, but who know what the future will hold lol.

  1. Just sad. awww wouldn’t even do her if she asked me. Great example of hitting the wall full speed. Dam. And the haircut? Is she trying to be repulsive or what? Is she hardcore feminist now? Dam.

    1. Women cut their hair once their health goes down because it just starts looking really bad.

    1. I don’t think that Christina Aguilera ever was good-looking. She was slim once, but she never had an attractive face.

    1. I don’t think that is true. The fetish certainly existed in the past, just like it exists in the present. Standards of female beauty, on the other hand, didn’t change very much.

    2. It’s just feminists repeating the same old nonsense. They also keep claiming that 1/3 of women will get raped or that there is a gender wage gap.

    3. I get sick of the Ruben thing. Ruben was ONE painter, who lived out nearly his entire artistic life sponsored by a middle aged, fat aristocratic widow. Gosh, I wonder why he kept painting fat women? It couldn’t be that the person feeding him and sheltering him was a fat woman?

    4. And Botero. But he’s very much contemporary, and he paints everyone fat, it’s just his personal touch.

    5. @Drosera

Exactly. An old German proverb says “wes Brot ich eß, des Lied ich sing”, which is pretty much the English “He who pays the piper calls the tune”.
Jon likes to ignore economics in favour of twisted perception of reality.

    6. The better explanation is that a small minority of men found obese and fat women attractive in the past as well.

  2. I’m sure she would look almost as attractive as she did 10years ago if she hadn’t cut her hair short and changed her style. I don’t think she’s hit the wall but rather is trying to make herself purposefully look unattractive because attractive women are not accepted/ taken seriously by the femnists and leftists.

    1. It seems that you are unaware of the fact that Scarlett Johansson has earned hundreds of millions of dollars with her looks. (I hope you’re joking.)

    2. why would she needs? the leftists and feminists?
if movie directors pay her asfssdgdfg dollars.
maybe they dont want to anymore so feminists all thats left?
there is also the issue that her hair might be crap by now.

  3. It only seems like yesterday that she was, IMO, one of the most beautiful women on earth. Peak beauty is so fleeting, even for the rich.

She has a new Marvel movie coming out as I type this and in the trailer/poster she looks too old to be running around as a sex-symbol (let’s be honest, that’s how she earned her money) superhero – like somebody’s mom playing dress up. If this is what 35 is like I dread to think what 45 will be like.

It’s not just the effects of gravity and a bad haircut that make her so much less attractive however, it’s that scowl that she has on her face in the latest photos. It’s the scowl of chronic anger and stress that you see on people who have been repeatidly fucked over by life, or abused, or made bad choices in life. It adds years and further lowers attractivness beyond the physical. Corporate offices are full of such folk.

Who knows what a world famous multi-millionaire has to be so angry about…

  4. I used to fantasize about her from the avengers. now i realize the avengers came out 6 years ago. i can see why she dyed her hair in infinity war.

  5. I know I’m late to the party. Nevertheless the point I’m going to make is a great one!
For all of her ageing and her fugly feminist short haircut it also doesn’t add to her overall attractiveness that the photo you posted shows her speaking to one of those deluded SJW-crowds at an anti-Trump rally! Friggin’ soon-to-be hag!
    MAGA
