    1. Honestly, I don’t like the cover since it looks too dark and I had think twice about what it is until I figured that they are steps. But I don’t want to judge the book by its cover. Eagerly waiting for the release.

  1. Random thought…one problem with having a master meditator boyfriend who’s able to clear his mind at will is that I can’t really be sure if he’s with me when I’m talking.

  2. Any chance you’d provide a limited time discounted price offering for loyal readers/loyal blog followers?

    🙂

    1. I don’t think this is how it works. 😉
You can read the blog for free, after all. By buying the book you increase the chance that I’ll write further books.

  3. Careful man, don’t release the electronic version any time soon. We have discussed this issue a couple of years ago.

The front cover is very dark and gloomy, quite unusual for a book on Mediation. What does the staircase mean?

I am sometimes curious about the front cover design of a book, it may or may not tell a story related to the content inside.

This is the most important work in your Werke, to be honest, as it will benefit millions with very practical and down-to-earth advice.

Can’t wait to buy and read a softcover! 🙂

    1. I actually think the cover is alright. It kinda works as a way to screen out all those people who want another feel-good, new age bunch of crap. And also the staircase is an allegory on how, stripped from all the mystical crap, meditation can be learned step by step.

    2. I couldn’t have said it better myself. Another aspect is that you take stairs towards the unknown because there are some very profound experiences to be had through meditation, which are unlike what you’ve experienced before.

    3. Yup, the image of the staircase has these symbolisms that’re both meaningful and relevant to meditation. Truth be told, I didn’t take to this image at first and it took me some time to come round 🙂 Sleazy’s initial idea was a picture of a flight of birds or a solitary rock (the latter I liked very much!)

    4. When I first saw the cover image the first thing coming to my mind was “Gradus ad Parnassum”…

    5. If I had to associate one word with that particular staircase, it would be “solitude”.
Looks like a path one goes alone.
      A good thought.
